Total Reconstruction Project

Project Overview

This project is for concrete pavement repairs to the existing ramps and main Connector of the interchange. Work will also include structure guiderail approach modification, drainage upgrades, bridge barrier concrete patching, inlet repairs, guiderail upgrades, shoulder stabilization, permanent pavement markings, delineation, and post mounted signs. Maintenance and Protection of interchange traffic is also included.

Project construction activities started on Monday, July 24, 2023. Project completion date is October 17, 2025.

There are four phases to the project. Phase 1 included Ramp M , Ramp P, and Loop A which were completed during the 2023 construction season. Phases 2 through 4 are anticipated to be completed during the 2024 construction season.  There will be some detouring of traffic during construction. 2025 Construction is anticipated to include Pavement Markings, Signage, and ancillary cleanup work.

The remaining phases are expected to be completed in 2024 and 2025.

Project Schedule

Anticipated T-028 Work Schedule:

September/October 2024

Monday September 23, 2024 through Thursday October 24, 2024 - Work will occur on Ramp N (SR-19 South to I-76 West) with a detoured closure. Work will occur during dayshift hours approximately 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM and nightshift hours approximately 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM behind barrier.
