Summer/Fall 2026: Geotechnical Work and Field Investigations
Boring/drilling activity, utility location surveys and bridge inspections will be taking place adjacent to and along the Pennsylvania Turnpike from Valley Hill Road to East of N. Morehall Road. This work is anticipated to begin in April 2026.
These geotechnical drilling investigations will be performed by drill rigs and backhoes. If there is disturbance to the area, it will be restored to the original condition as much as possible after completion of the drilling.
Utility location crews will be in the field to pinpoint locations of underground utility infrastructure.
Crews will be inspecting the I76 bridges over Phoenixville Pike (SR 1003) and N. Morehall Road (SR 0029).
