Fall 2026
Engineering design work is underway from milepost 184 to 186, and is expected to take 3 years to complete. Field work includes surveys, environmental, geotechnical, and right of way investigations, as well as final design of roadway, structures, and stormwater management facilities.
Design activities are also underway for the Locke Road Bridge (MP 185.89) replacement and the resurfacing of the current 4 lanes in this two-mile section of the Turnpike, which is anticipated to be replaced through Accelerated Bridge Construction (ABC) and completed in spring 2030.
