Nighttime Lane Closures Planned 4/21-5/4 on PA Turnpike for Milling and Paving at Valley Forge Interchange

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission announced today that lane closures are planned at night on the PA Turnpike (I-76/I-276) just east of the Valley Forge Interchange for milling and paving under the Commission’s substantially completed project that widened and improved the Turnpike and its bridges between mileposts 324-326.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

• Monday, April 21, through Sunday, April 27, from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, intermittent lane closures can be expected on the westbound Turnpike.
  
• Monday, April 28, through Sunday, May 4, from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, intermittent lane closures can be expected on the eastbound Turnpike.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays may occur. All scheduled activities are weather-dependent.
