Roadway and Bridge Reconstruction, Allegheny & Butler Counties, PA Subject: Advance Notice T-478, Mt Pleasant Road Closure
Dear Township Manager Bastianini:
Trumbull Corporation has been directed by the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission to resume work on the PA Turnpike's Roadway and Bridge Reconstruction MP 28.49 to MP 30.88 in Allegheny & Butler Counties, Contract T-028.45T001-3-03. The project is currently set to resume physical work on April 27, 2020.
In accordance with the terms of our contract, this letter is being sent to inform you of the upcoming closure of Mt Pleasant Road beginning on May 4, 2020. The road will be closed to allow for construction activities; detours will be set up to adequately guide local traffic to alternate routes. The closure will be in place until approximately December 2021.
Detours and Road Closures:
- Mt Pleasant Road (T-478)
- The affected portion of Mt Pleasant Road will be detoured using Franklin Road (SR 4061), Warrendale-Bayne Road (SR4052), and Northgate Rd.
- Mt Pleasant Road will re-open in December 2021
