Possible Delays Expected on PA Turnpike (I-76) on Saturday
CHESTER COUNTY, Pa. — The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PA Turnpike) advises motorists traveling eastbound on the Pennsylvania Turnpike, Interstate 76 (I-76) near Malvern and Route 29 (Exit 320), in Chester County, to be prepared for slow-moving and stopped traffic from 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2025 until 10 a.m. on Sunday, October 5.
There will be a right lane closure for motorists traveling eastbound between milepost 321.0 and milepost 322.5, as well as intermittent, 15-minute traffic stoppages in this area. The work is necessary for the protection of motorists and workers so crews can safely perform milling and paving, as well as toll gantry repairs.
During the work, PA Turnpike maintenance and state police vehicles will restrict PA Turnpike traffic to a speed of 20-25 miles per hour. Motorists traveling in the eastbound direction on I-76 in Chester County are encouraged to plan travel accordingly.
