Ramp Closure Scheduled Between Harrisburg East Interchange and SR283 West

Ramp Closure Scheduled Between Harrisburg East Interchange and SR283 West

Impacting northbound drivers only, scheduled for overnight hours to limit impacts

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. — Traffic ramps on the northbound side between the Harrisburg East Interchange of the Pennsylvania Turnpike (PA Turnpike) and Interstate 283 West are scheduled for overnight hours.

The northbound on-ramp from the Harrisburg East Interchange to the section of SR 283 leading to Eisenhower Blvd.  will be closed from Monday, Sept. 8 at 7 p.m. until Tuesday, Sept. 9 at 6 a.m.

The closures are necessary to allow crews to safely conduct milling and paving work on those ramps. Drivers seeking Eisenhower Blvd. may continue on I-283 north to the SR 441 exit or seek alternative routes during those times. All scheduled work is weather permitting.
