Fuel Temporarily Unavailable at South Midway Service Plaza Starting March 10
Other amenities will remain open during 10-week shutdown
BEDFORD, Pa. — The Pennsylvania Turnpike (PA Turnpike) advises that gas and diesel fuel will not be available at the South Midway Service Plaza in Bedford County, Milepost 147.3 eastbound, beginning Monday, Mar. 10. Fuel will be unavailable at South Midway Service Plaza for approximately 10 weeks while 7-Eleven replaces the underground fuel tanks, fuel lines and fuel dispensers as part of scheduled maintenance.
During this time, eastbound motorists who wish to remain on the PA Turnpike can get fuel at South Somerset Service Plaza, 35 miles before South Midway, or at Sideling Hill Service Plaza, 35 miles after South Midway.
