Possible Delays Expected on PA Turnpike and I-95 April 5

Possible Delays Expected on PA Turnpike and I-95 April 5

Nighttime traffic paces planned on I-276 and I-95 in Bucks County.

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission advises motorists traveling eastbound and westbound on the PA Turnpike, Interstate 276 (I-276) and motorists approaching Interstate 95 (I-95) northbound and southbound, in the area of the Delaware Valley Interchange, Exit 42, Bucks County, to be prepared for slow-moving and stopped traffic on Friday, April 5 from 12:01 a.m. until 5:00 a.m.

There will be intermittent, 15-minute traffic stoppages in this area.  The stoppages are necessary for the protection of motorists and workers so crews can safely perform bridge repairs. The bridge, which carries I-95 traffic over Green Lane, is at milepost 42.31, just east/north of the Delaware Valley Interchange, Exit 42.

During the stoppages, Turnpike maintenance and state police vehicles will restrict Turnpike traffic to a speed of 20-25 miles an hour. Motorists traveling in these directions on I-276 and I-95 in Bucks County are encouraged to plan travel accordingly.

Pennsylvania State Police and Turnpike personnel will be positioned at the impacted areas to assist drivers. Changeable message signs will also provide information on closures and detours. Work schedules are subject to change based on weather conditions.
