Nightly Ramp Closures on PA Turnpike (I-276) Scheduled to Start August 7 at Norristown Interchange

Nightly ramp closures at Norristown Interchange needed to complete planned roadwork.

 

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission advises motorists that the Interstate 276 (I-276) westbound entry and exit ramps at the Norristown Interchange, Exit 333, Montgomery County, will be closed nightly starting Sunday, Aug. 7 through Friday, Aug. 12 from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. for planned milling and paving.

 

Norristown Interchange (I-276) Westbound Entry Ramp Detour

To enter the PA Turnpike traveling westbound to I-276 toward Valley Forge/Harrisburg: from Germantown Pike (State Route 3053) and Plymouth Road (State Route 3007), follow I-476 South to I-76 West.

 

Norristown Interchange (I-276) Westbound Exit Ramp Detour

To exit the PA Turnpike (I-276) traveling westbound towards Norristown, use Exit 20 and follow I-476 South.  Follow signs to Ridge Pike (State Route 3056) to Chemical Road (State Route 3015) to Germantown Pike (State Route 3053).

 

Pennsylvania State Police and Turnpike personnel will be positioned at the impacted areas to assist drivers. Changeable message signs will also provide information on closures and detours. Work schedules are subject to change based on weather conditions. Motorists are encouraged to plan travel accordingly.
