Ramps connecting PA Turnpike 43 and I-70 in Washington County to close June 7
The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission is advising motorists that different ramps connecting PA Turnpike 43 (Mon/Fayette Expressway) and I-70 in Fallowfield Township, Washington County will be closed from June 7 to June 25.
Motorists traveling eastbound on I-70 wanting to enter PA Turnpike 43 heading north will need to continue on I-70 another 2.5 miles to Exit 40 (Charleroi/Allenport) and follow the detour signs back to I-70 westbound to take Exit 37B to reach PA Turnpike 43 northbound.
Motorists traveling northbound on PA Turnpike 43 wanting to enter I-70 eastbound will need to travel to Exit 36B to enter I-70 westbound and follow the detour signs through the cloverleaf loop ramps back to I-70 eastbound.
Crews will have the ramps open to traffic on the weekends. The ramps will open at 10 a.m. on Fridays and close again at 8 p.m. on Sundays.
