United States and Commonwealth flags to fly at half-staff.
Governor Tom Wolf has ordered the United States and Commonwealth flags on the Capitol Complex, at all Commonwealth facilities, and all public buildings and grounds throughout the commonwealth to fly at half-staff to honor Army Pfc. Joshua Mikeasky, 19, of Johnstown, who died Thursday at Bagram Air Field in Afghanistan.
The United States and Commonwealth flags shall be lowered until the day of interment, which has not yet been announced. The United States and Commonwealth flags have previously been lowered to half-staff until January 1, 2019, to honor President George H.W. Bush.
All Pennsylvanians are invited to participate in this tribute.
