Fly the United States Flag at Half-Staff

By order of the President of the United States, the US flag will remain down for one more day in honor and remembrance of Congressman Alcee Hastings, of Florida. Pursuant to law, the flags are automatically lowered to half-staff for a sitting member of Congress. This action will change the previous order to raise the flags to full-staff on the 6th. Instead, the flags will now be returned to full-staff at midnight on the 7th of April.

The commonwealth flag has flown at half-staff since Wednesday, March 11, 2020, in honor of the victims of the COVID-19 pandemic and should continue to fly at half-staff until further notice.
