PA Turnpike to Celebrate Ribbon Cutting for New Hawk Falls Bridge
CARBON COUNTY, Pa. — The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PA Turnpike) is hosting the official ribbon cutting of the new Hawk Falls Bridge. The new, $88 million, steel deck truss bridge enhances safety and mobility for the area, while improving the overall functionality from the original 1950s bridge. This event will include remarks, followed by the ribbon cutting.
The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission and its project partners recently received the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) National Recognition Award for the Hawk Falls Bridge, recognizing outstanding engineering projects that contribute to improving safety, quality of life and community connections across various sectors.

WHERE: The event, which is not open to the public, takes place adjacent to the bridge. Due to the logistics, maintenance will be conducting a right lane closure so media and event attendees can get to the location safely. Media is required to sign the attached waiver.Guests and all media must meet at the construction office (2588 PA-903, Albrightsville, PA 18210) and should be ready to depart by 12:50 p.m. We cannot accommodate late arrivals. Please also be aware that this is an off-site location, closed-toe shoes are required.
