Westbound Closure on PA Turnpike at Interstate 95 South 

Middletown, Pa. — The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PA Turnpike) advises motorists traveling westbound that there is a closure between I-95 Southbound (Exit 40) and Bensalem Interchange (Exit 351) due to a multi-vehicle crash at Milepost 351.5WB. The closure will remain in place until the scene is cleared.   

During the closure, the following detour is in place: 

  • I-95 South (5.2 miles) 
  • Exit 35, PA 63 West/Woodhaven Rd (3.2 miles) 
  • US 1 North toward Morrisville onto Roosevelt Blvd (2.5 miles) 
  • Re-enter the PA Turnpike at Bensalem Interchange (Exit 351)  

Pennsylvania State Police and PA Turnpike personnel will be positioned at the impacted areas to assist drivers. Changeable message signs will also provide information on this closure. Motorists are encouraged to plan travel accordingly.
