Pennsylvania Turnpike Hosts Open House Plans Display for State Route 130 Interchange Project

New interchange will link the PA Turnpike with State Route 130 in Penn Township

MIDDLETOWN, PA — The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PA Turnpike) will hold an Open House Plans Display for the State Route (SR) 130 Interchange Project in Penn Township, Westmoreland County, for the public and interested stakeholders. 

The new SR 130 Interchange, located in the vicinity of PA Turnpike Milepost 63 between the PA Turnpike’s Irwin (Exit 67) and Pittsburgh (Exit 57) interchanges, will improve access to neighboring counties and employment centers from the PA Turnpike and support economic development in Westmoreland County. 

While there will not be a formal presentation, preliminary engineering plans for the interchange design and other project information will be available for public review. Representatives from the PA Turnpike and their consultant project team will be available to speak with the public and answer any questions.
