Fuel Temporarily Unavailable at New Stanton Service Plaza Starting September 9

Fuel Temporarily Unavailable at New Stanton Service Plaza Starting September 9

Other amenities, such as food and charging stations, will remain open during 10-week shutdown

NEW STANTON, PA —The Pennsylvania Turnpike (PA Turnpike) advises that gas and diesel fuel will not be available at the New Stanton Service Plaza in Westmoreland County, Milepost 77.6 westbound, beginning Monday, Sep. 9. Fuel will be unavailable at New Stanton for approximately 10 weeks while 7-Eleven replaces the underground fuel tanks, fuel lines and fuel dispensers as part of scheduled maintenance.

During this time, westbound motorists on the PA Turnpike should get fuel approximately 35 miles before New Stanton at the North Somerset Service Plaza. Motorists past North Somerset Service Plaza can obtain gas off of an exit. New Stanton Service Plaza is the last westbound service plaza before the Ohio border.

While there will not be fuel available at New Stanton Service Plaza, additional amenities such as restrooms, the convenience store, food concepts and the Electric Vehicle Charging Station will all remain open. For more on available amenities at New Stanton, as well as information on all PA Turnpike service plazas, visit PA Service Plazas | PA Turnpike.
