PA Turnpike Advises Fuel Will Not Be Available at North Midway Service Plaza Starting September 11

BEDFORD, PA—The PA Turnpike Commission (PTC) advises that gas and diesel fuel will not be available at the North Midway Service Plaza, Bedford County, westbound, beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, September 11. Fuel will be unavailable at that service plaza for a period of approximately eight weeks as the Turnpike’s fuel provider, 7-Eleven, is replacing the underground fuel tanks, fuel lines and installing new fuel dispensers at the plaza’s fuel pumps.

Motorists should not stop for fuel at the North Midway Service Plaza at milepost 147 westbound. During this 8-week period, westbound motorists may travel to the North Somerset Service Plaza for fuel, approximately 35 miles west of the North Midway Service Plaza.

While there will not be fuel available, the restrooms, convenience store and food concepts will be open. For inside dining options at the North Midway Plaza, click here. For more information on all Turnpike service plazas, visit PA Service Plazas | PA Turnpike
