PA Turnpike Advises Fuel Will Not Be Available at North Somerset Service Plaza Starting Today
HARRISBURG, PA (March 20, 2023) —The PA Turnpike Commission (PTC) advises that gas and diesel fuel will not be available at the North Somerset Service Plaza, Somerset County, westbound, beginning 7:30 a.m. today, Monday, March 20. Fuel will be unavailable at that service plaza for a period of approximately 8 weeks. The Turnpike’s fuel provider, 7-Eleven, is replacing the underground fuel tanks, fuel lines and installing new fuel dispensers at the plaza’s fuel pumps.
Motorists should not stop for fuel at the North Somerset Service Plaza at milepost 112 westbound. During this 8-week period, westbound motorists may travel to the New Stanton Service Plaza for fuel, approximately 35 miles west of the North Somerset Service Plaza.
