PA Turnpike Advises Fuel Will Not Be Available at Sideling Hill Service Plaza Starting Sept. 6

HARRISBURG, PA (Sept. 1, 2022) —The PA Turnpike Commission (PTC) advises that gas and diesel fuel will not be available at the Sideling Hill Service Plaza, Fulton County, both east and westbound, beginning 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 6. Fuel will be unavailable at that service plaza for a period of approximately 10 weeks. The Turnpike’s fuel provider, 7-Eleven, will be replacing the underground fuel tanks, fuel lines and installing new fuel dispensers at the plaza’s fuel pumps.

Motorists should not stop for fuel at the Sideling Hill Service Plaza at milepost 172 (both east and west). During this 10-week period, eastbound motorists may travel to the Cumberland Valley Service Plaza for fuel, approximately 47 miles east of the Sidling Hill Service Plaza. Westbound motorists may travel to the North Midway Service Plaza which is 25 miles west.

While there will not be fuel available, the restrooms, convenience store and food concepts will be open. For inside dining options at the Sideling Hill Plaza, click here Sideling Hill (paturnpike.com). For more information on all Turnpike service plazas, visit PA Service Plazas | PA Turnpike.
