PA Turnpike Ramp to Close Overnight May 16 at Mid-County Interchange

Five-hour, westbound ramp closure needed for planned roadway work.

Five-hour, westbound ramp closure needed for planned roadway work.

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission advises motorists traveling on I-276 westbound that the exit 20 westbound ramp to I-476 south in Montgomery County will be closed on Sunday, May 16 from 12:01 a.m. to 5 a.m.

Motorists traveling to I-476 south will be directed to the Norristown Interchange, Exit 333, to continue to I-476 southbound.

The closure is necessary for the protection of motorists and workers so crews can safely apply pavement markings for travel lane reconfigurations needed for All-Electronic Tolling at the Mid-County Interchange.

Pennsylvania State Police and Turnpike personnel will be positioned at the impacted areas to assist drivers. Changeable message signs will also provide information on the ramp closure. Motorists are encouraged to plan travel accordingly. Work schedules are subject to change based on weather conditions.
