Two PA Turnpike Employees Honored with Women In Technology Awards
MIDDLETOWN, Pa. — Two Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (Commission) employees were recently honored for making a difference in the technology field in Central Pennsylvania.
Priyadharshini Rajmohan, an IT Technology Analyst II at the Commission, was awarded the Next Gen Award and Tami Anderson, Senior Technology and Innovation Manager at the Commission, was awarded the Impact Award in Public Sector/Government during the Technology Council of Central Pennsylvania's (TCCP) 10th Annual Women in Technology Awards on September 30th.
“Congratulations to Priya and Tami for this deserving recognition that highlights the difference they make across our organization,” said Commission Chief Technology and Growth Officer Bob Taylor. “Their commitment demonstrates the continuous improvement and ‘best in class’ culture we are building here at the Commission to deliver results that better serve our customers and the entire Commonwealth.”
Rajmohan, who originally joined the Commission in 2024 as a CEO Intern, was recognized as “an up-and-coming young woman who is making a difference in technology in our region,” by the TCCP for developing business intelligence and data analytics and AI solutions that help drive smarter decision-making across the Commission. Rajmohan had never heard of the PA Turnpike until after moving from India to the United States for her studies but has quickly become an emerging leader who is proud of the impact she is making in the Central Pennsylvania region.
“Being recognized for the work I am doing and the impact I am trying to make through technology is very meaningful,” Rajmohan said. “As the first graduate in my family, this recognition is also very personal to me. It reminds me of how far I have come, and I hope it can also show the next generation that with opportunities, hard work, and support, they can create their own path too.”
Anderson, who has been with the Commission for 10 years, was recognized for her contributions and their impact on the Public Sector and Government. Anderson not only leads initiatives that strengthen IT Service Management, IT Asset Management, enterprise architecture, technology governance and quality management, but is also a founding project sponsor of the Commissions’ Human Trafficking Awareness Campaign that has helped support efforts that use education, outreach and technology to increase awareness and protect communities across Pennsylvania.
“This award means a lot because it reflects the work I’m proudest of – using technology to help people,” Anderson said. “It also brings to mind the colleagues and partners who have shaped my career and made that work possible. It means a great deal to work for an organization where a conversation with leadership can grow into an initiative like the Human Trafficking campaign that makes a real difference.”
Technology Council of Central Pennsylvania connects members and organizations to promote technology and fuel economic development. The TCCP’s Women in Technology initiative is a driving force behind greater equity, opportunity, and inclusion across the tech industry.
Rajmohan and Anderson are members of the Commission’s IT Department. In 2025, the Commission was recognized as a 2025 Info-Tech Innovator of the Year Award winner by Info-Tech Research Group, a global leader in IT research and advisory. The Commission was recognized for its Elevate IT initiative, a program that embeds technology into all operations to address underdelivered projects. Launched in 2017, Elevate IT doubled project delivery success from 50% on time and within scope to 100% by 2024, while growing its technology program tenfold.
