Overnight Closures Scheduled At Lawn Service Plaza

Closure to allow crews to safely conduct asphalt resurfacing near the Service Plaza

LAWN, Pa. — The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (Commission) advises motorists traveling on the PA Turnpike (Interstate 76) that the Lawn Service Plaza (MP 258.8 Westbound) will not be accessible during the following times:

  • Monday, October 5, 2026, 9 p.m. until Tuesday, October 6, 2026, 6 a.m.
  • Tuesday, October 6, 2026, 9 p.m. until Wednesday, October 7, 2026, 6 a.m.
  • Wednesday, October 7, 2026, 9 p.m. until Thursday, October 8, 2026, 6 a.m.

The service plaza closure is necessary to allow crews to safely conduct asphalt resurfacing between mileposts 254 and 263. Travelers in need of gas and food services on the PA Turnpike should stop beforehand at Peter J. Camiel Service Plaza (MP 304.8 Westbound), proceed to Blue Mountain Service Plaza (MP 202.5 Westbound) or exit the PA Turnpike.

Information will be posted and announcements will be made inside the plaza warning customers of the impending closure. If customers remain in the service plaza after 9 p.m., they will be required to stay there until the road reopens.
