Ramp Closures Scheduled Between Harrisburg West Interchange and Interstate 83

Impacting southbound drivers only, scheduled for evening and overnight hours to limit impacts

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. — Traffic ramps on the southbound side between the Harrisburg West Interchange of the Pennsylvania Turnpike (PA Turnpike) and Interstate 83 are scheduled for next week.

The southbound on-ramp at Harrisburg West to I-83 will be closed from Sunday, June 1 at 6 p.m. until Monday, June 2 at 6 a.m. and again on Monday, June 2 at 6 p.m. until Tuesday, June 3 at 6 a.m.

The southbound off-ramp of I-83 (Exit 39B) to PA Turnpike – Harrisburg West Interchange will be closed Tuesday, June 3 at 6 p.m. until Wednesday, June 4 at 6 a.m. and again on Wednesday, June 4 at 6 p.m. until Thursday, June 5 at 6 a.m.

The closures are necessary to allow PA Turnpike crews to safely conduct milling and paving work on those ramps. Drivers should seek alternative routes during those times. All work is weather permitting.
