Lane restrictions scheduled on bridges over PA Turnpike in Westmoreland County

Lane restrictions scheduled on bridges over PA Turnpike in Westmoreland County

WESTMORELAND COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC) and Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) advise drivers that single-lane restrictions will be in place on several roads where bridges overpass the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Westmoreland County during the month of April for Turnpike bridge work.

Work will be done from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the scheduled days and locations listed below:

  • April 2-5: Main Street between Mountain Trail Lane and PA Route 31, Donegal Township
  • April 8-11: Claypike Road between Ridgeview Drive and Harr Road, Mount Pleasant Township
  • April 15-18: Keyser Road between Lonesome Trail Road and Claypike Road, Mount Pleasant Township
  • April 22-26: Freeman Falls Road between Freedom Road and Old Falls Road, Mount Pleasant Township

Flaggers will be present to direct traffic and wide loads will still be able to pass through as needed.
