Overnight Delays Expected at New Stanton Interchange

20-Minute Traffic Stoppages Needed for Westbound Ramp Work.

The PA Turnpike Commission (PTC) advises motorists traveling westbound on the PA Turnpike to expect delays overnight when exiting at New Stanton Interchange (Exit #75).

Crews need an extra night to finish the repair work at New Stanton Interchange, therefore; two, 20-minute traffic stoppages will take place between 12:01 a.m. and 3 a.m., August 18, at the westbound ramp exiting the PA Turnpike at New Stanton Interchange.

The stoppages are necessary for the protection of motorists and workers while road repairs are made at the ramp.

PTC maintenance and state police vehicles will restrict Turnpike traffic during these overnight hours. 

Changeable message signs will also provide information. Motorists are encouraged to plan travel accordingly. Work schedules are subject to change based on weather conditions.
