Governor Tom Wolf has ordered all United States Flags and Commonwealth Flags lowered to half-staff.

In remembrance of the victims of the September 11, 2001 attacks and in honor of Patriot Day.


In remembrance of the victims of the September 11, 2001 attacks and in honor of Patriot Day, Governor Tom Wolf has ordered all United States Flags and Commonwealth Flags on the Capitol Complex, at Commonwealth facilities, and throughout the state lowered to half-staff at sunrise on Tuesday, September 11, 2018.

“On this solemn day, we remember all those patriots that put their lives and safety on the line to protect their neighbors and communities,” Governor Wolf said. “Their spirit and sacrifice shall not be forgotten and should inspire each of us to serve our communities however we are able.”

The United Sates Flag and the Commonwealth Flag shall remain at half-staff until sunset on Tuesday, September 11, 2018.

All Pennsylvanians are invited to participate in this tribute.
