Single Lane Closure and Paces Scheduled Tonight

East of Carlisle Interchange at Milepost 226.6
Lane closure needed for emergency guiderail repair.

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission advises motorists traveling eastbound of a single lane closure at milepost 226.6, Middlesex Township, Cumberland County, from midnight tonight to 5 a.m. on Nov. 24.

The right lane closure is necessary to enable crews to repair part of the guiderail that was damaged in an accident early this morning involving a tractor trailer.

Motorists may also experience delays due to the intermittent, 15-minute traffic paces scheduled between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. to allow crews to safely install the guiderail posts.
