TRAFFIC ADVISORY

in Centerville Borough, Washington County

MON/FAYETTE CONSTRUCTION WILL REQUIRE THREE-YEAR CLOSURES OF PARTS OF THREE SECONDARY ROADS

Parts of three secondary roads near the Monongahela River in Centerville Borough, Washington County will close on Monday, November 24, for a period of about three years, to facilitate Phase 2 construction of the Mon/Fayette Expressway between Uniontown and Brownsville.

A section of Low Hill Road will be closed near its intersection with Pa. Route 88. Traffic will be detoured around the closure area via Main Street, Blaine Avenue, U.S. Route 40 West, and Route 88.

Old National Pike will be closed in the vicinity of the Route 88 overpass near the Centerville Borough Building. The posted detour will be to take Old National Pike to Main Street, then Main Street to Blaine Avenue, then Blaine Avenue to Route 40 West and to follow Route 40 West back to Old National Pike west of the closure area.

A section of Nobles Road will be closed near its intersection with Route 88. Drivers will be directed around the closure area via Binns Road, Ridge Road and Route 88.
