The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission is advising customers in the Philadelphia region that at 10 p.m. Sunday, July 11, toll plaza construction will begin at the Delaware Valley Interchange (Exit #29). Customers should expect delays due to periodic lane closures for approximately two (2) weeks.

Contractors will be cutting into existing concrete and pouring new concrete at the toll collection islands to install conduit as part of an overall upgrade to the Turnpike's Fare Collection system.

Motorists using the Delaware Valley Interchange can expect delays resulting from lane closures while this work is being done.
