Comments:
As of 1 p.m. today, the speed limit on the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-476) from Mid-County to Clarks Summit has been reduced to 45 mph due to the winter storm. Motorists should not travel unless necessary. Northbound motorists entering the Northeastern Extension via Mid-County tolls should be aware that the Express E-ZPass lanes have been closed to accommodate ongoing storm preparations. Tag holders should use the traditional E-ZPass lanes to the left of the express lanes.
