TRAVEL ADVISORY: Philadelphia, PA – The Pennsylvania Turnpike is advising motorists that beginning September 6, 2000 through fall 2001, there will be varying single lane patterns on the Northeastern Extension (I-476) both north and southbound from mileposts A-0, at the junction to A-24, one mile north of the Quakertown Interchange # 32, due to new median barrier installation. Single lanes will be in affect SOUTHBOUND from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday and from 8 p.m. to 9 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Single lanes will be in effect NORTHBOUND from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday and from 11 p.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. MOTORISTS ARE URGED TO USE EXTRA CAUTION WHEN APPROACHING AND DRIVING THROUGH CONSTRUCTION ZONES. |
