PA Turnpike Northeastern Extension Overhead Bridge Work Scheduled
Utility Work to be performed at the Walton Road Bridge that crosses the Turnpike at Milepost A21.00

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA (02/16/2009)—The Pennsylvania Turnpike is advising motorists traveling the Northeastern Extension between the Lansdale (Exit #31) and Mid-County (Exit #20) Interchanges to be prepared for bi-directional traffic paces, with possible 15 minute stoppages, to begin (*weather permitting) Tuesday night, February 17th at 10:00 p.m. and conclude by 5:00 a.m.

To protect PECO utility workers and Turnpike travelers while crews pull four (4) utility lines across the Turnpike at the Walton Road overhead bridge located at MP A-21.00, Pennsylvania State Police cruisers will significantly slow (pace) traffic as motorists approach the work zone. This will allow enough time for the overhead work to be performed. This traffic pace may include (15) minute stoppages in the vicinity of the bridge at milepost A21.

*If there is inclement weather the work will be re-scheduled for the following night, February 18th with times and operation information still applicable.
