Reconstruction MP 210 to MP 215: Current Construction

OCCASIONAL SINGLE LANE CLOSURES

 

Motorists traveling the Pennsylvania Turnpike in the vicinity of this construction are advised that single lane traffic restrictions may be in effect during day and nightime hours.

Due to construction call boxes from MP 210 to MP 215 are out of service until further notice

 

TRAFFIC ADVISORY - TUESDAY JULY 9 and WEDNESDAY JULY 10, 2008 - BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION - MP 212.64

Motorists are advised that lane closures can be expected in the vicinity of this construction beginning Tuesday July 8 at 9:00 PM. All lanes will reopen Wednesday July 9 at 6:00 AM.

 

ADVISORY -- THURSDAY JUNE12, 2008 UNTIL THE END OF JULY

BLASTING OPERATIONS AT MP 212.64 EB AND WB

The blasting is part of a total reconstruction project ofhe Turnpike between MP210 and MP 215 in Cumberland County. All traffic will be paced between Blue Mountain (MP 201) and Carlisle (MP 226) Interchanges.

Paces will occur at random times on Monday through Thursday each week between noon and 2 PM and lasting approximately 20 minutes. There will be one blast  (and one traffic pace) per day. There will be no blasting on FRIDAYS OR DURING ANY HOLIDAY RESTRICTIONS. Travelers may encounter slow moving traffic during these periods.
