Contractors initiated work in late 2006. Current activities travelers should be aware of include the following:

• Noise wall construction on-going around milepost 7.5 eastbound
• Subgrade, subbase, and bituminous pavement placement on-going
• Continued structural work on bridges (i.e. approach slabs and parapets)
