The new Route 903 "Slip Ramp" Exit project, currently in the design stage, will be the Turnpike's first full-diamond interchange with a tolling plaza on each ramp along the mainline of the Turnpike. The project will include building four new ramps with toll plazas, widening Route 903 to include turning lanes with traffic signals, replacing the bridge over the Turnpike, and constructing culverts to maintain the water system in the project area. The construction area will cover approximately one mile along the Turnpike Penn Forest Township, Carbon County.
