Nittany Creek

Nittany Creek, a high quality cold water fishery, flows between the east- and west-bound lanes of I-80 in Centre County.

As part of the Application Process, the Project Team will study the potential effects the I-80 Toll Conversion Project could have on the natural, cultural and socioeconomic environment.

The studies being conducted include an inventory of all existing features and facilities associated with the corridor. These studies will be carried out in accordance with the Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ) and the Federal Highway AdministrationFHWA implementing regulations of the National Environmental Protection Agency (NEPA), and with all other applicable state and federal regulations pertaining to transportation projects.
