Rendering of an Open Road Tolling facility
A series of conversion projects will begin prior to toll collection.
Start-up projects include:
- Toll Facilities,
- Bridge and Roadway Rehabilitation,
- Maintenance Activities and
- Sign Installation.
One of the first projects will be the construction of up to 10 toll facilities along the I-80 corridor. Toll facilities will not be located at interchanges as typically seen on the Turnpike Mainline; they will be located along the main highway corridor.
