Project Overview and Schedule

Mainline Reconstruction and Widening - The mainline Turnpike roadway is currently in final design and will include the replacement of seven mainline bridges, which carry the Turnpike over other roads or bodies of water. Final engineering design plans will be made available for public review at an open house plans display, tentatively scheduled for spring 2013. Construction is anticipated to begin in 2014.
