Did you know...

...that the speed limit on I-76 between Mileposts 316-321 is posted at 55 miles-per-hour (mph) in both directions for the Route 29 All-Electronic Interchange?


  • The 55 mph speed limit is in effect 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
  • The speed limit is reduced to 40 mph when trucks are entering and exiting the Turnpike.
  • The speed limit is reduced to 40 mph during single-lane closures.
  • The PTC urges motorists to slow down and obey the posted speed limits.
  • Speed limits will be enforced and fines doubled (PennDOT Title 75, Sec. 33.62 of the Vehicle Code)
