The new Route 29 "Slip Ramp" Exit is a brand-new Turnpike interchange now being planned for construction in Chester County. Located midway between the Downingtown exit (#312) and the Valley Forge exit (#326), the new facility will serve burgeoning corporate centers and business parks along the Route 29 corridor – especially in the Great Valley area. It will shorten travel times for thousands of commuters and help ease traffic congestion at neighboring interchanges and on local roads. This "slip ramp" – an unstaffed interchange built exclusively for use by E-ZPass members. Construction will start in Fall, 2008.
